Task 4: PE Got Talent

Buenas alumno/as,

Ya está aquí vuestra oportunidad de demostrar aquella habilidad que teneis dentro y darla a conocer a todos tus amigos del cole.

En las clases de Educación Física, dentro de la unidad 10. "Circus actions" para 3º, 4º, 5º y 6º de primaria, realizaremos una actividad final de evaluación tipo concurso llamada PE Got Talent.

La tarea para esta unidad consistirá en hacer un trabajo en un folio A4 explicando qué habilidad es la que llevarás a cabo en dicho concurso. Debe ser en inglés y se valorará la creatividad, aportación de fotos y/o dibujos.


En ella debes incluir los siguientes apartados:

- Nombre artístico de tu idea/de tu personaje:

- Nombre y curso con los componentes de tu equipo:

- Qué es lo que propones y cómo conseguiste desarrollar ese talento.

Fecha de entrega hasta el 26 de mayo, inclusive.

Hello pupils,

The time has arrived for you to have the opportunity to show a talent that you have and showcase this to all your school friends.

This is part of unit 10 in PE class. ¨Circus actions¨are for Primary 3, 4, 5 & 6 only, you will perform a final demonstration as an evaluation of the course called PE Got Talent.

The task for this unit will consist of doing an A4 piece of work explaining the talent that you will perform in this competition. It should be in English and it will be assessed on creativity, the use of photos and/or drawings.

It should include the following points:

- An artistic name of your idea or character.

- Name and class of team participants.

- What you will do and how you will develop this talent.

 - MAKING A REFUGE LESSON:

All the students love it!!
 





- FIRST AID LESSON:
In this lesson th PE teacher tries to explain and provide students some basic knowledge of special situation shere first aid could save lifes:

- SURVIVAL SKILLS LESSON:

We explained some of the most importance (Some Survival skills)
 
      0. Grow vegetables from seeds. This isn’t the easiest skill to master and you’ll need expert advice.
  1. Have local edible and medicinal plant foraging skills. This book is a must-have for foraging beginners.
  2. Knowledge of dietary needs and how to meet them using wild plants and game
  3. Make a fire and know fire safety
  4. Cook on an open fire
  5. Open a can of food with and without can opener (rub can lid ridge on cement and then pry open with knife)
  6. Be able to tell if food is too spoiled to eat
  7. How to safely use a knife
  8. How to shoot a sling shot
  9. How to hunt small game with snares, traps and sling shot
  10. How to fish and hunt, using  a bow and gun when old enough
  11. How to clean fish and wild game
  12. Find water and identify if it’s safe to drink
  13. Filter and boil water to drink
  14. Basic first aid
  15. Basic hygiene practices
  16. Find or build a shelter in the wilderness
  17. How to stay warm, cool, and dry in the elements
  18. How, why and when to stay hidden
  19. Self defense
  20. How to make a basic weapon and how to use it
  21. Be able to run and walk a good distance and be in generally good shape
  22. How to climb a tree to get away from predators, get directional bearings, and hunt
  23. How to read a map and use a compass
  24. How to read the sky for directions, time and approaching bad weather
  25. Know where family and friends live if they need to find them
  26. How to sew so they can mend clothing or any fabric and even make things such as bags or scrap quilts
  27. How to barter and trade (Kids naturally do this with their toys so teach them at garage sales.)
  28. How to be responsible for themselves and to be aware of their surroundings at all times
  29. Have a natural curiosity and good problem solving skills
  30. Be hard working and a self starter and a family helper not a complainer!
  31. Have a strong faith in God (morals, memorize Bible verses, prayers, songs, and have a hope for heaven). Ultimately, everyone reaches a point in which their physical, mental, and emotional abilities are completely taxed. Spiritual survival can make the difference between giving up and finding strength from somewhere to hang in there, just one day at a time.

Task 3. Investigate your games.

El alumnado desde 3º a 6º de primaria investigará preguntando a sus abuelos/as, padres, madres, vecindad, etc. sobre juegos populares y tradicionales que jugaron en su infancia. Se valorará la originalidad, novedad, presentación y dibujo del juego.

Objetivos:
- Recopilar juegos antigúos para evitar su desuso.
- Motivar a alumnado al uso de los mismos juegos como fomento de relaciones entre otros.
- Aprender a aprender a usar el tiempo libre.

Fecha límite: Dependerá del grupo clase.

Task 2. 2016/17. PE for the Peace!

 TASK 2. PE FOR THE PEACE!

         Students will create a special brick made of with a standar tetrabrik of milk (9x20x6cm). Then, they will write any English message about peace on it (over one of the longest sides of the brick). Later, on 30th January in the celebration of the Peace day at school, Pe dept will create a big wall with all the bricks created by the students in the PE corner. In adition, all the bricks creared will be used for playing a giant domino game.

Compulsory Deadline: 26th January, inclusive.


         Los estudiantes crearán un ladrillo especial fabricado de cualquier tetrabrik de leche estandar (9x20x6cm) donde escribirán algún mensaje de paz en inglés en él en una de las caras más largas del tetrabrik. Más tarde, el 30 de enero en la celebración del día de la paz en el colegio, el departamento de Educación Física creará un gran muro de la paz en el rinción deportivo con todos los ladrillo diseñados por los estudiantes, los cuales serán usados posteriormente para jugar al dominó gigante.

 Fecha tope de entrega obligatoria: 26 de enero, inclusive.
